The binding intensity of memory HSFs is largely determined by sequence, with modulations from composition of heteromeric complexes. The indicated combinations of HSFA2, HSFA3, and HSFA1b were allowed to bind to genomic DNA at the indicated temperatures (37 °C or 22 °C) and purified and analyzed by DAP-seq. Signal intensities at the peaks from the ChIP-seq experiment were determined and averaged for each ccluster.
