For the 4x4 categorical comparison of the expression sets vs. the subgenome mapping characters, the chi-square value is 25.88, for p < 0.005, indicating a significant difference in the distributions, due to the pollen set. No significant difference is present comparing only seedling, embryo sac and ovule sets (χ2 2.61; p > 0.5).
