The scores for AYB were calculated using a calibration function with parameters derived from the ϕX174 L2 data set; the scores reported under AYB* are those achieved using run-specific calibration on the larger data sets (see text for details). Quality scores were not available for Bustard on the Ibis Test data set and Ibis failed to train on the second end of the HiSeq data.
