Red = increase, green = decrease, black = zero. Dendrograms are based on hierarchical clustering of Pearson correlation coefficients for each pairwise dataset comparison. Numbers beside amino acid names indicate GC content, calculated as: (Number of GC bases among synonymous codons)/(Number of total bases among synonymous codons).
