^aTRP channels in the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster, the worm Caenorhabditis elegans, the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis, the puffer fish (Seifuku, Fugu rubripes), the zebrafish (Danio rerio), mouse and human. The numbers correspond to proteins with distinct channel properties within each subfamily [104–106].
