The x-axis shows the inclusion levels in ranges of 10, and the y-axis shows the proportion of exons from each subset falling within each range. For each exon, the EST inclusion level is defined as Ni/(Ni + Ns) Ă— 100%, where Ni is the number of ESTs including the exon and Ns the number of ESTs skipping the exon. Only exons with Ni + Ns ≥ 10 were considered. On the left of the dashed line we plot the frequencies for exons with zero EST inclusion level.
