A strong negative correlation between the allele frequency change during the first 20 generations and the starting frequency of the beneficial alleles from the immigrant population in the freshly mixed population. Alleles with a high starting frequency are counter-selected, while low-frequency ones are favored. In all three replicates the advanced population samples are moving towards the low-frequency founder population-reflecting the non-random allele frequency changes.
