The chickpea symbiotic rhizobia OTU (csrOTU) was identified by analysing the 16S rRNA gene of the clean nodules. ANOVA test showed that the effect of niches was significant at P adjusted by Benjamini-Hochberg FDR < 0.05. Bars indicate the standard error at P = 0.05
