We used 4 young and 3 aged macaques across 44 brain regions to study aging mechanism in NHPs through multifaceted analyses (connectivity analysis, differentially expressed gene analysis, alternative splicing analysis, and network analysis). We further confirmed the role of PGLS underlying brain aging in mice. The table on the right shows the ontology and nomenclature of analyzed brain regions
