Pairwise expression correlation among pathway genes is improved using imputed data. A pathway gene correlation score (PGCS) measures the increase in expression correlation among pathway genes compared to a set of randomly selected genes of the same size. ΔPGCS is the difference in PGCS between imputed data and un-imputed data. For each data set (dropout or imputed data), a ΔPGCS value is computed for each pathway. Boxplot represents ΔPGCS values for 186 pathways in the IPA database.
