True distance used in calculating the error is computed by applying each method (AAF and Mash) to the full genome assemblies. The heatmaps on the left show the error of Mash (upper triangle) and Skmer (lower triangle), and the heatmaps on the right are for AAF before correction (upper) and after correction (lower)
