The choice of Cas endonuclease depends on several considerations, such as the type of genome modification desired or the type of repair template to be utilized. For HDR-mediated editing with ssODNs, we recommend asymmetric donors that are complementary to either the target or non-target strand when used in combination with LbCpf1 or SpCas9, respectively
