Average values are defined as a weighted average between groups, with weights given by the number of samples within each group of cells. As expected, our analysis does not reveal major changes in expression levels between SC and P&S samples. In fact, the distribution of estimated LFCs in overall expression is roughly symmetric with respect to the origin. In contrast, we infer a substantial decrease in biological over-dispersion in the P&S samples.
