Mesenchymal and immunoreactive subtypes show good correlation with ACTA2 and CD3 expression, respectively (left). The heat map on the right shows only the proliferative and differentiated subtypes and suggests that high AR and PTEN expression is associated with the differentiated subtype. (B) Categorisation of patients into high, medium and low expression for PTEN and AR shows an association between PTEN expression and the differentiated and proliferative subtypes (chi-squared test, PTEN P=0.02 and AR P=0.38).
