Whole genome sequencing identified seven regions marked by control-segregating variant densities meeting a 95th percentile cutoff (the highest 5% of genome-wide variant density) on macaque chromosomes 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 14. Plots depict variant densities (shown in black) across each of the candidate regions with Ensembl gene annotations overlaid (shown in blue). The x-axes show distance (in megabases) relative to the center of each of the control-segregating regions.
