The genome is split into non-overlapping 2 kb windows, and the percentage methylation at CpGs calculated for each window. Y-axis indicates the number of windows with a given methylation level. (b) Proportion of individual CpGs that are unmethylated (<20% methylated), partially methylated (20% to 80% methylated) or methylated (>80% methylated). (c) Bisulphite sequencing percentage methylation (orange) and Ensembl genes (blue) over chromosome 16.
