Note that the numbers of nuclei vary between one and four per cell, indicating some heterogeneity among cells in the timing of events during encystation, with the majority of mature cysts with four nuclei. Scale bar indicates 10 µm. Total library size and Pearson correlation between biological replicates is shown for each time point.
