  1. Transcript levels of different NF-YA genes and AM-induced phosphate transporters were exemplified analyzed in chimeric plants with a Bragg wild-type background. Transcripts relative to GmSUBI-1 were determined by RT-qPCR using gene-specific primers (for primer information see Table S4 in Additional file 1). Specificity of primer pairs was assessed by sequencing of RT-qPCR products. Data are mean values + SD with n = 30 and n = 35 for EV and RNAi, respectively, coming from two independent experiments. Data of empty vector control and RNAi plants were pairwise compared by the Student's t-test. *P ≤0.05, **P ≤0.01, ***P ≤0.001. Significant changes are highlighted in bold.
