Adult female flies were collected 1 to 3 days after pupal eclosion and snap‐frozen and their heads were isolated. (B) Kaplan–Meier survival plot of homozygous brat mutant (red) versus control flies (green). The tumor penetrance is 100% reducing the median adult survival time to 10 days.
