Sequencing traces are shown for a test strain (A/J) and the reference strain (C57BL/6J). Note that all other test strain traces are identical to the one shown here. The black asterisks indicate the micro-homology of 6 bp (GAACTA). The presence of two SNPs (C->G and T->A, shown using red asterisks) in all test strains (here only shown in A/J) is associated with the presence of the structural variant.
