The position of JGI predicted ORFs on the plus and minus strand are shown in black, and the position of the Yfr1 non-coding RNA is shown in green. In this same region, there is anti-sense transcription opposite to the trxA and guaB ORFs. (b) Length distribution of non-coding transcripts. Transcripts that have any overlap with an annotated transcript on the opposite strand are designated anti-sense. Most non-coding transcripts are anti-sense by this designation. The median size for a non-coding transcript is approximately 200 nucleotides.
