Predictive power for gene expression of the transcriptional model of A. thaliana inferred from the whole dataset (1,436 conditions) and the test model from 1,292 microarray experiments used as a training set. The left column shows the regression coefficient (R2) between the model and experimental profiles across the whole dataset for the five best predicted genes. The right column shows R2 between the test model and the 144 experimental profiles used as the test set for the same five genes. In either case, correlation coefficients were highly significant.
