(a) Comparison of the length (in amino acids) of O. bayeri proteins to orthologs from Enc. cuniculi, Ent. bieneusi, S. cerevisiae, U. maydis, B. dendrobatidis and R. oryzae. In general, O. bayeri proteins are longer than microsporidian orthologues, but shorter than fungal orthologues.
