Numbers in parentheses (X/Y) are the total number of mapped PolB fragments (Y) and the number of supported cases (X). The tree topology is the same as the one shown in Figure 1. Branches with bootstrap values ≥ 70% are marked with filled circles. The 99 branches examined by our phylogenetic mapping are shown with black lines; other peripheral branches are shown with gray lines. The length of the scale bar corresponds to 0.5 substitutions per site. colors correspond to different taxa: viruses (blue), eukaryotes (orange), bacteria (green) and archaea (pink).
