Groups of genes that showed a significantly decreased H3K14ac level in the sas3Δ mutant relative to the wild-type strain (434 genes) were classified based on over-represented attributes using the FuncAssociate web tool [52]. The number of genes bound for every category, the number of overall genes with this attribute and P values are shown. Only the eight categories with the most significant P values are shown. The search for GO categories was done using the FuncAssociate server [52].
