Comparison of hybridization results between the 60-mer Agilent and 70-mer University of Arizona (slide A) array platforms. Probes from the two sets designed for the same gene/EST sequences were divided into two groups: (a) within 30 bases of each other; and (b) more than 30 bases apart. Data in the plots were from hybridizations using the same 1.5 mm anther tissue samples and the same design as in Figure 1. A similar analysis was performed for slide B of the Arizona set (data not shown).
