The structure, total size in amino acids (aa), and position of the START domain are listed. Numbers of predicted transmembrane segments followed by the amino acid positions separated by 'i' if the loop is on the inside or 'o' if it is on the outside (in parentheses) are indicated. *There are two protein isoforms as the products of alternative splicing. The internal loop in the Start1 START domain was not included in the analysis. All proteins are supported by cDNA clones.
