  1. RT-PCR was carried out on cDNA derived from heat-shocked wild type (hswt), heat-shocked otd (hsotd) or heat-shocked Otx2 (hsOtx2) embryos. Change folds determined by RT-PCR are represented as the mean value of eight independent replicates, derived from two different cDNA preparations. wun is used as a control for the comparison of the RT-PCR data between heat-shocked wild type and heat-shocked Otx2. Scc1 is used as a control for the comparison of the RT-PCR data between heat-shocked wild type and heat-shocked otd.
