Next-Gen GWAS retrieves 1D-GWAS signal in Arabidopsis comparable to routinely used MML (EMMA [4, 23, 28]) and points to the FLC locus for flowering phenotypes. A Data from Atwell et al. (2010) have been used to compare the efficiency of our algorithm to the standards of GWAS in Arabidopsis. NGG and EMMA algorithms largely retrieve similar signals.
