MALDI-TOF MS identification of 71 bacterial strains, listed in the upper part of the heatmap. The best-matched genome entries were identified using GPMsDB-tk. Peak matching was performed at a mass error tolerance of 200 ppm, and the best-matching genomes were calculated based on scoring scheme III, specifying option -a as “all”. At least four determinations were performed for each strain, and the number of best-matched hits is shown in the heatmap. Bold boxes in the heatmap represent correct identification at the species level in the GTDB r95. The best hits other than the genomes shown in the tree are grouped at the bottom as “other lineages”
