The network includes 517 pairs at the stringent KID score cutoff of 6.73 (P < 0.01). (b) Comparison of KID gold standard with published gold standard for kinase-substrate interactions [15]. The stringent KID gold standard is depicted in yellow while the gold standard published in Fiedler et al. [15] is shown in pink. The number of interactions that overlap are indicated on the diagram. The large blue circle includes all the more than 26,000 entries in KID, but only 517 represent the gold standard.
