Repeats were binned according to their estimated copy number in the Mxg genome and then divided into categories as in Figure 4a. The number of small RNA signatures matching the repeat sequence in each category and copy number class divided by the estimated total genomic size of the repeat class in kilobases is plotted on the y-axis.
